With a common goal

PreHLB-Blog is a project for the prevention of the HLB disease affecting citrus fruits. It is formed by a multidisciplinary consortium coordinated by the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de las Plantas (IBMCP) (Institute for Plant Molecular and Cell Biology) together with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) (Spanish National Research Council) and the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) (Polytechnic University of Valencia).

The working group is made up of several research centres, universities, consultancies and private companies from 6 different European countries (Spain, France, United Kingdom, Portugal, the Netherlands and Italy) and 3 from outside Europe (Israel, China and Brazil). It is a joint project that seeks to identify, prevent, research and eradicate the disease that is a threat to all citrus farms in the world.
